Lac St-Louis Tigers Orange 15U Win In Fashion, Walk It Off Versus Milton Mets T1 15U

It came down to the wire on Sunday, as Lac St-Louis Tigers Orange 15U grabbed the victory in walk-off fashion, 7-6, over Milton Mets T1 15U. The game was tied at six in the bottom of the eighth when Jérémie Sabourin doubled, scoring one run.


Vincent Comtois collected three hits in four at bats in the win. Comtois doubled in the fifth inning, singled in the third inning, and singled in the first inning.


Lac St-Louis Tigers Orange 15U were the first to get on the board in the first when Donovan St-Denis doubled, scoring one run.


A single by Comtois extended the Lac St-Louis Tigers Orange 15U lead to 2-0 in the bottom of the third inning.


Milton Mets T1 15U flipped the game on its head in the top of the seventh, scoring five runs on three hits to take a 5-4 lead. The biggest blow in the inning was a walk by Aleksi Niemi that drove in one.


Cooper Law singled on the sixth pitch of the at-bat, which helped Lac St-Louis Tigers Orange 15U tie the game at five in the bottom of the seventh.


A dropped third strike by Lac St-Louis Tigers Orange 15U gave Milton Mets T1 15U the lead, 6-5, in the top of the eighth.


Lac St-Louis Tigers Orange 15U jumped back into the lead in the bottom of the eighth inning after Jérémie Bouchard doubled, and Sabourin doubled, each scoring one run.


Sabourin earned the win for Lac St-Louis Tigers Orange 15U. The starting pitcher gave up two hits and zero runs over five and two-thirds innings, striking out nine and walking three. Jacob Durocher took the loss for Milton Mets T1 15U. They went one and one-third innings, giving up three runs on six hits, striking out one and walking one. Nolan Moser stepped on the bump first for Milton Mets T1 15U. They allowed seven hits and four runs (two earned) over six innings, striking out none and walking two. Jacob Reid and St-Denis each appeared in relief for Lac St-Louis Tigers Orange 15U.


Lac St-Louis Tigers Orange 15U collected 13 hits in the game. Sabourin, St-Denis, Bouchard, and Law each collected multiple hits for Lac St-Louis Tigers Orange 15U.


Jonah Allen went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Milton Mets T1 15U in hits. Niemi paced Milton Mets T1 15U with three walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, tallying seven walks for the game. Ethan Beaudry and Brady Walker each stole multiple bases for Milton Mets T1 15U.


Lac St-Louis Tigers Orange 15U will travel to RedSox Bleus 15UAA for their next game on Saturday.
